DH typically doesn’t work on Saturday’s. On this Saturday he
did need to & it turned out to be for a bit longer than originally
anticipated. Oh well. One thing he sort of wanted to do was go walking late in
the day with me because of the full moon for the weekend.
Knowing this, by 7:30 p.m. I made sure to put down my
project (of the hour) & hustle myself (yes, yet again) onto the elliptical.
I knew I’d be off & ready for our walk, whenever he would decide he was
ready for it to be. He kept talking about 9 p.m., since the moon was likely to
be in full swing by then, but we wouldn’t be as likely to be too tired to do a
bit of a walk. At first my DH was trying to figure out a good open space to
admire the sky. I thought of one, but it was a mile further away & down a
hill (& ya know, for every downhill there is an uphill - & vice versa).
By the time we did leave (about 9:15 p.m. or so), he had decided we’d just go
for a bit of a walk (probably a mile) somewhat circling a section of our neighborhood.
A small, gradual hill is all that we “endured”. This walk, like that of last
Sunday for Father’s Day, was neither a slow drag, nor a quick, rapid pace, but
still a walk none-the-less. We did see the full moon, but it was definitely
clouded over plenty.
June 22 accountability – Elliptical 1000 RPMs at 7:30 p.m.
& 1-mile walk in neighborhood with DH
